Welcome to BettrPeek. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the BettrPeek mobile app, website, subscription services, content, features, and related services. By using BettrPeek, creating an account, downloading the app, subscribing to Premium, or using the website, you agree to these Terms.
1. About BettrPeek
BettrPeek is a baby-product safety information app. It scans product labels — food, formula, skincare, sunscreen, wipes, cosmetics and household items — and returns ingredient breakdowns, safety scores, age-aware guidance, and cleaner alternatives. BettrPeek provides general product-safety information for parents and caregivers only. BettrPeek is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally able to enter into these Terms in your country of residence. If you are under the age required to consent to digital services, you may only use BettrPeek with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
3. Accounts and sign in
You may need an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account secure. BettrPeek may use email OTP, magic link, Apple sign in, Google sign in, or other supported methods.
4. Safety information disclaimer
Ingredient scores, concern flags, and alternative suggestions are general informational content only. They are not a medical, regulatory, or allergen-safety verdict. Always read the full product label, follow the manufacturer's usage instructions, and consult a pediatrician or qualified health professional for any health question about your child.
5. AI and ingredient analysis
BettrPeek uses automated and AI-assisted analysis to read labels, match ingredients, compute safety scores, and surface alternatives. Label reading, ingredient matching, scoring, and recommendations may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing every result against the actual product label before use.
6. Subscriptions and Premium access
BettrPeek may offer free and paid plans. Pricing, billing periods, renewal terms, taxes, and cancellation rules are shown before purchase. Website billing may be handled by Stripe; iOS billing by Apple; Android billing by Google Play.
7. Cancellations and refunds
You may manage or cancel your subscription through the platform where you purchased it. Refund availability depends on the payment provider, store platform, applicable law, and the specific purchase terms shown at checkout.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse BettrPeek, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security or operation, or upload unlawful or infringing content.
9. User content
You may submit profile details, child age profiles, allergen watchlists, product photos, saved scans, and support messages. You grant BettrPeek the limited rights needed to process your content and provide app features.
10. Intellectual property
BettrPeek, including the app, website, logo, design, software, text, graphics, content, and features, is owned by BettrPeek or its licensors.
11. Third party services
BettrPeek relies on third party services for authentication, hosting, analytics, payments, AI processing, email, storage, app store distribution, crash reporting, and customer support.
12. Availability and changes
BettrPeek may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error free operation.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use BettrPeek unlawfully.
14. Disclaimers
BettrPeek is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BettrPeek and its owners, employees, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost profit damages arising from your use of the service.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable local law unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
