Profile and personalization: child age profiles (newborn, infant, toddler, child), allergen watchlists, product category preferences, country, language, and onboarding answers.

Scans and product data: product photos, barcodes, manual product entries, ingredient lists, saved scan history, comparisons, and AI analysis results.

Device and permissions: camera, photo library, and notifications permissions used to scan labels and deliver relevant alerts.

Payment and subscription: handled by Stripe, Apple, or Google Play. We receive subscription status, plan, customer ID, and transaction metadata, but never store full card numbers.

Technical and analytics: device type, OS, app version, IP address, pages viewed, crash logs, and diagnostic information.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide app and website features, personalize product-safety guidance for your child's age and allergen profile, process subscriptions, send service messages, improve reliability and security, and comply with legal obligations.

3. AI processing

When you use AI powered features, product label photos, barcodes, and ingredient text may be processed by AI service providers to generate ingredient breakdowns and safety analysis. AI outputs may be inaccurate.

4. Legal bases

Where laws such as GDPR apply, we process information based on contract performance, consent, legitimate interests, or legal obligations.

5. How we share information

We share information with trusted service providers (hosting, database, authentication, payments, analytics, AI processing, email, support). We do not sell personal information.

6. Data retention

We keep information as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, and prevent fraud. You may request deletion of your account.

You can request account deletion from inside the app or by contacting support. Some data may be retained for legal, billing, or security reasons.
